Fujita and Injen are direct competitors...the guy that designed for Injen started his own company...aka Fujita

Blackacura had his AEM cai torn right off the brace...but I'm sure it's an isolated issue...

One Supra buddy was on the dyno and had his AEM filter cave in. Granted, none of us are pushing 900+WHP but he never went with another AEM after that. It was funny: waaaaAAAAAAAAHHHHH-shlunk-pssshhhhhh-HOLY SHIT!

~Cheers~

Stock airbox minus the resonator below it with a good K&N filter FTW

i had that but then i learned that if u put a velocity stack at the end like the comptech icebox has it draws more air in.

you know what this isn't meant to offend anyone, but please do a search.

this topic has been discussed so many times it's not even funny. we can sit here all day going back and forth between which intake is better, but it's all preference in the end. some will stand behind injen - aem - fujita - other knockoffs, but it's all more or less the same.

there is no such thing as a better intake. each manufacture has its pros and cons.

That has NOTHING to do with AEM. Its just the filter wasnt designed for that much suction. They make special filters for high boost applications, like Diesel trucks etc...

i think im gonna go with the V2, seems like all intakes only give you 5-10 hp and after searching a bit it looks like the v2 has the best sound

this site has em for cheap but there for 98-02 accords, it should fit right?

i own Injen. i was gonna buy V2 but it was a little more cash out of my pockets for something similar to Injen. so i bought Injen. and im happy with it. piping looks great and the vibra mount is great too. no damage after owning for about a year of hard driving and such. love the sound it gives. scares the people next to me when i got WOT and my friend says he can hear my VTEC when i got WOT through my phone. i say jus save some money and get Injen. they give you a nice sticker to! lol.

The V2 for the 98-02 accord fits the TL. However, the part number you had in the link was for a 4cyl engine accord not the J30/J32 series V6.
This is the part you want:24-6016C

I have the Injen and love it. Personally I would never buy an AEM, (vibramount breakage) but to each his own.

x2 on the sound. The sound that the Injen CAI gives me is amazing, very noticable.

i prefer aem. yea its a tad more but with the dual chamber design you get more power then just a straight pipe. plus it looks meaner once its in. instead of sum skinny pipe runnin down ur engine bay.

Its up to you man, just the build quality is a little better on the Injen. AEM and ebay intakes are the only ones ever mentioned about vibramount breakage.

honestly, if i were you and had the tl-p, i'd get the aem v2. the design and sound on that intake is AMAZING!! i've heard it on a number of cars and if you've never heard it in person, you'll have to. my neighbor has an s2000 and the v2 sounds amazing. if they had it for the type s, i'd be all over it. but like 02 said, it's up to you in the end.
