I'd start in the 2nd generation tl board and look under the DIY area. There's a bunch of little mods that you can do to the whip. There's anything from the intake resonator removal to LED upgrades, debadging, swapping tail lights (if amber doesn't appeal to you) and many other things. If its parts you're looking for, 99 TLs are hard to come by nowadays especially if you're looking to change the grill (there's inspire, saber, mugen) and the oem lip kit and other exterior mods. There's so many possibilities and ways you can go but I'd start in the black market in the forum section on the top left of the site. And even ebay has some parts available often times. It's all about searching and doing research and finding out what you like and don't and building a personal preference from there. Good luck and welcome to the site!

Tons of things that ya can do depending on your budget and what ya really would like to accomplish.
Start by checking out the "Photograph Gallery" sub-forum ...lots of pics of good looking modded TL's.
Rims, lip kit, lowering, tinting, etc. Just some ideas on appearance !

Check out "Performance Parts & Mods" if ya want a few more HP. But, before ya do any serious modding....look over the "DIY" sticky and try to resolve any basic common issues first. Make sure that ya have a good running solid car before starting to spend alot of money on mods. Check the "Black Market" for used parts at a savings.
