no need to remove the battery cable...D2C is universal and doesnt have the lil round thing like the D2R bulb does and kinda scatters the light around...i have D2C 8K bulbs in there right now for the hell of it and the light is scattered out more than the D2R

Whats the typical life span of these bulbs? Is it either a hit or miss thing, it could burn out the next day after installing or last for a while.

Yeah, I picked up these 6000k Xenon one's from HIDExtra for about $30 after the discount code. Has anyone had problems with these?

Oh shit, I got the 9006 bulbs. I thought 9006 and the D2R's were the same thing

If ur talking about the 9006 bulbs then yes, they are as useless as a hooker with no hands that's trying to give u a handjob....

as for the lip kits, i see they have some for 02-03, so those kits wont fit the 99-01? whats the difference?

The sides and rear are universal for the 99-03 TL. The front is different.

You can either get a 99-01 front lip or get an 02-03 front lip and modify it to fit. Someone with a 99-01 TL put a 02-03 front lip on their car and it looked nice.
