Nah Seriously, I need to look that.
3K HIDs are not Yellow they are GOLDEN the look on the Fogs and the Actual Color light in the Ground is very different.

HID bulbs take at least 50 hours or more of burn in time before they stabilize to their final color and light output. Also - higher wattage HID bulbs, such as 55W versus 35W, will have a more washed out color than the lower wattage bulbs.
My 3000k aren't truly yellow either. The only 3000k HID bulbs I've seen that are truly yellow are Philips' Ultinon bulbs. They are expensive and hard to find, though.
You should've use lamin-x instead of that spray paint. I used yellow lamin-x film and am happier with the color.

As said, higher wattages can color "wash" the output. And again, as said, HID bulbs have burn-in time and reach their fullest color and brightness after anywhere from 20-50 hours of use...depending on the manufacturer.
As for the best (IMO) 3k's ive seen in aftermarket suppliers, Morimoto wins handsdown. Morimoto (aka: CN Light) uses many OEM standards when designing and manufacturing their lighting products. Lower defect rates, higher dependability, better products. We use their products at the shop i run and have quite notably received far less complaints on issues.
If youre really wanting absolute, optimal performance, find (and i do mean FIND) you a set of 85122YX bulbs...only downside is D2R/S bases only but can be re-based to work in other sockets. Hella (although never used personally) is another OEM company that makes 3k D2S/R bulbs that you might also consider.
Good luck!

I have an '05 TL so my fogs are not the projector style or have DRL. How can I get that yellow fog light color? Should I get regular replacement bulbs or get HID ones? Thanks!
