ive looked around and havent seen anyone do this, but i was wondering if a backseat from a 2001 CL would fit in my 99 TL-P, im not paying for it because my friend wrecked his car and he owes money so he gave me car to sell parts...so if anyone knows if it will fit

 

it wont fit. the way a TL and CL backseats come out are different. I know this because i have a TL and the guy i work with (we have our own shop), he has a CL. we tried different things, and the way they both bolt in are totally different. the TL, you have to pop out the bottom piece by just pulling up on it after you unbolt a screw in between the seat belts are. the back part you have to pull up and than pull towards you. while the CL there are hooks that grab onto the support on the back and there's another certain way in pulling it out. also the bottom seat comes out differently also because of that middle console. also the support beams that run across the back when you have the seats stripped, the shape is different, the TL has more of a boxed shape, so its long and straight, while the CL has that rounded off shape in the back for the trunk, so the part also runs differently.

the front seats will work fine, but the rear seats are not going to be interchangeable.
