2 thermo block-spacers ?

Hey guys, i was wondering if anyone has any opinions on having dual spacer kit's installed around the intake ?
Would it help or hurt the performance ?

My guess is it would not affect things much. The point of the spacers, from what I understand, is to put a thermal barrier between the intake manifold and the engine block, if you will. I would assume the thickness of the spacers was determined to be an optimal thickness when they were being developed, that is a spacer thicker than the one currently available would not provide any noticable benefits.

Ultimately, two spacers would provide more insulation, and could potentially keep the intake manifold cooler, but I'm willing to bet that two spacers would keep it only slightly cooler than 1 spacer.

not worth it, the kit is design to fit that way. plus things get tight with just the regular set of spacers. its really a cool technology, i think extra would not make a diff and def not be worth the hassle of getting new bolts and studs and modifiing the intake hose to still fit. i dont even think its possible at the manifold portion.

The only gains i could see coming from this (not sure if it would, expecially with out tunning) would be the added intake runner length

so is it possible to put 2 near the throttle body? I've seen others for domestic cars, and they look about twice as thick.

If anything, I don't think you would see anymore gain.

Put a call to Outlaw Engineering
They do say for V8 and other hot engines you can run stacked or custom made thickness
Thats for serious drag racers mostly- our cars only need 1 thermoblock spacer- and it works!

On the street- you get as much improvement by checking the tire pressure
