01-03 civic fogs with 02 tl switch?

i just bought the 02 tl fog switch from the dealers and it way bigger. how would i make the wiring convert to the 02 switch? And where do i get it? I remember the parts guy telling me about some other wiring i might have to get. is the dealers the only place i can get it? thx in advance

all i can tell you is it will work. i suck at wiring so i had a shop do the wiring of my fogs, but its definitely doable, and totally worth it for aesthetic purposes, i hate aftermarket fog light switches, they look so out of place.

haha actually ive been thinking about it and i think i just need the plastic harness for the 02 switch just move the wires from the old harness into the 02 and it will connect? thats my theory at least.

and im pretty sure you can use the tcs button for something else but what did you have in mind? neon underglow(street glow) lights!@!

like i said, i'm no wiring guru, but theory is telling me that you find all the connections and wire/solder them together. i mean, if you get your civic fogs from ebay, i'm pretty sure they come with a button (mine did) but that button is too bulky and doesn't really flow with the rest of the interior.

neon underglow lights??? how about no. haha. i'll figure something out. i'm just a little slow. i am just now figuring out what i want to do with this hole above my parking brake.

i want to run my usb cable from my EMS and terminate the connection right there, then be able to plug in my laptop to it to do data logging as needed. it would be pretty cool.

Mines did come with a switch but it gets stuck all the time cause the light bulbs melted the plastic inside the switch so time for oem one!

there's a DIY on here for the fog install. if you order them on ebay, it will come with the lights and the rest of the support structure. you'll have to dremel it down to make it fit and then use quick steel and jbweld to make it tight.
