Zaino...!!!!

I'm not a frequest poster, neither do I do "product endorsements", BUT:

I did the Zaino thing on my SSM '03/navi yesterday. For a point of reference, I have, over the years, used everything fro paste Simonize the Magquires to every polish on the shelf. I was flabergasted by the depth of the Zaino gloss! As a matter of fact, my company has a glossmeter-- for those of you unfamalier with this device, it quantifies the actual gloss on a flat surface. It's pretty expensive, and most polish manufacturers don't WANT to publish their own results for obvious reasons, but let me say that after just one coat of Z2 and one spary application of Z6, I got a gloss reading of 144+. A highly polished mirror is about 110.........

I AM impressed, and recommend this stuff to anyone, ESPECIALLY those with dark colors. Mine is SSM, so I can only surmise that it would be even MORE impressive on a dark paint.

And no, I don't have stock in Zaino. (come to think of it, though, if they ever DO go public, I'd sure like a geads up1<g>)

Just my 2 cents worth.

JOHN

My spelling sucked-- sorry. SHOULD have read "from Simonize TO Magquires", "spray" application of Z6, "heads up" <g>!!!

Yup.. it's a great product which is why it's been one of the favorites of Auto enthusiasts everywhere. No matter what bulletin board you go on you'll find that in the Detailing (or whatever it's called) sections it's pretty much Zaino all the way!!

You got a reading of 144 with one coat! I wonder what my reading would be with over 20 Coats. Keep us posted as you apply more coats of Zaino. Actually could you do a reading with Z2 and ZFX to prove weather or not ZFX is better than just plain ole Z1.

I just ordered my Z1 and Z2 from Ecklers . They sent me that stuff fast. I would recommend the following to anyone interested in getting into Zaino: Get at least Z1 and Z2 (assuming almost everyone has clearcoat finish), but also get the Z6. Z6 is a quick detailer and is useful for making spot cleanings. Plus you can layer more and more coats of the Z2 over the Z6. I've been using Meguire's Final Inspection as my QD, which works well. But the Zaino system is really dependent on many other Zaino products. Zaino is obviously a layer system. Highly recommend going over to www.zainobros.com and reading about their products.

This stuff is no joke. It's the real deal.

PS I'm ordering the Z6 and Z7 (car wash) tonight.

What should I get for a white car? Im a little confused about which ones to get. I used Meguires Gold Class and 3 Step process, but want to see the difference on my car. Thanks in advance.

More specifically do you mean you have a White Diamond Pearl TL? If you really want to see a difference, go Zaino. Some might argue that carnaubas waxes are good, but no way they are as good as a synthetic such as Klasse or Zaino. If so, order Zaino products, Z1, Z2, Z6, and Z7 (optional imo). However I am ordering the Z7. I'm going full out all-Zaino. That stuff looks amazing on light colored cars. I can't wait to get more coats of Z2 on my baby.

ZAINO is da shinezzz!!!! hehehe! I have only two coats on my WDP. But damn...what a world of a difference! The very first time was a very tiring one, but well worth it. and the paint feels amazing.

Here's a pic. Check out the reflection! :wow:

Too bad the pix is kinda small. I didn't want to use the big pic. But you get the idea of how nice Zaino makes your car reflect.

Gloss

I don't think it would be meaningful to check the gloss between applications, but I'll give it a try. 144 is SO high that it's probably not reproduceable as a finite number on different parts of the same car anyway. (might have put a little more on, or rubbed harder getting it off, of a different geometry between surfaces, etc.) It'll also be different for different colors, and probably even if there's a difference in actaul paint thickness by even .000001!!

Nonetheless--- it's a heck of a product, and I will check the gloss again after I add coats..............

Here is a good sample pic of Zaino at it's finest sorry guy it's my Max. Pay close attention to the roof of the car this is what the rest of the car looks like in person.

Get the Z7 car wash. It works much better than anything else out there. Also, you need Z5. It's great for cleaning up those really fine scratches (Trust me, you'll have them) and is fully compatable with the rest of the Zaino line.

On my WDP TL-S, I actually like to finish with the Z-5 and Z-6 vs. the Z-2. For some reason it looks better to me. Also, use the Z-2 and/or Z-5 on the glass with Z-6. It's amazing how well it sheds water!
