Zaino...!!!!
Zaino...!!!!
I'm not a frequest poster, neither do I do "product endorsements", BUT:
I did the Zaino thing on my SSM '03/navi yesterday. For a point of reference, I have, over the years, used everything fro paste Simonize the Magquires to every polish on the shelf. I was flabergasted by the depth of the Zaino gloss! As a matter of fact, my company has a glossmeter-- for those of you unfamalier with this device, it quantifies the actual gloss on a flat surface. It's pretty expensive, and most polish manufacturers don't WANT to publish their own results for obvious reasons, but let me say that after just one coat of Z2 and one spary application of Z6, I got a gloss reading of 144+. A highly polished mirror is about 110.........
I AM impressed, and recommend this stuff to anyone, ESPECIALLY those with dark colors. Mine is SSM, so I can only surmise that it would be even MORE impressive on a dark paint.
And no, I don't have stock in Zaino. (come to think of it, though, if they ever DO go public, I'd sure like a geads up1<g>)
Just my 2 cents worth.

Yup.. it's a great product which is why it's been one of the favorites of Auto enthusiasts everywhere. No matter what bulletin board you go on you'll find that in the Detailing (or whatever it's called) sections it's pretty much Zaino all the way!!
zfx is just to enhance the time needed to haze the z2/z3/z5 right?!
that's awesome news. yeah i love zaino and i have over 40 coats already, can't complain at all with all the attention i got on the roads
so many times people come and say damn how can you ever make the car so shiny? mind you, this happens when my car is at dealer too.

yeah, but it will also be used on a White Yukon. Yeah and I go all out on my car. Just spent 50 bucks at meguires.com for some stuff(scatch X and microfiber towels,etc..) Ill probally order that stuff some time so it comes in November(next time I get an entire week devoted to the car)Thanks
ZAINO is da shinezzz!!!! hehehe! I have only two coats on my WDP. But damn...what a world of a difference! The very first time was a very tiring one, but well worth it. and the paint feels amazing.
Here's a pic. Check out the reflection! :wow:

Too bad the pix is kinda small. I didn't want to use the big pic. But you get the idea of how nice Zaino makes your car reflect.

Gloss
I don't think it would be meaningful to check the gloss between applications, but I'll give it a try. 144 is SO high that it's probably not reproduceable as a finite number on different parts of the same car anyway. (might have put a little more on, or rubbed harder getting it off, of a different geometry between surfaces, etc.) It'll also be different for different colors, and probably even if there's a difference in actaul paint thickness by even .000001!!
Nonetheless--- it's a heck of a product, and I will check the gloss again after I add coats..............

More specifically do you mean you have a White Diamond Pearl TL? If you really want to see a difference, go Zaino. If so, order Zaino products, Z1, Z2, Z6, and Z7 (optional imo). However I am ordering the Z7. I'm going full out all-Zaino. That stuff looks amazing on light colored cars. I can't wait to get more coats of Z2 on my baby.

On my WDP TL-S, I actually like to finish with the Z-5 and Z-6 vs. the Z-2. For some reason it looks better to me. Also, use the Z-2 and/or Z-5 on the glass with Z-6. It's amazing how well it sheds water!
