Yep, I just totaled my TL today and my elbow feels like there's a fracture in it. Going to take x-rays tomorrow waste of my time. And to top things off, the guy that ran the red had the nerve to come up to me afterwards everything was done (police report, cars getting towed ) and say "I don't know what was going on...Good thing I was going slow." Now I'm thinking to myself *don't hit him* and I replied with "Hey, you f***ing ran the red and you for damn sure weren't driving slow. Please stop talking to me." (Excuse me for the language). The funny thing was I was just going to get my bodykit from my local Acura dealership. Took awhile to save up, and the only reason why I'm willing to pay full price for my OEM bodykit, get it put on, and painted BY ACURA is because I'm a neat-freak car. Everything HAS TO LOOK NICE. *Sigh*, when I mean totaled is that both my air-bags popped, right front panel is dented, whole front end completely ran over, headlights crushed, hood dented up from up to an inch in various places, and everything from the right side of the engine seems to be shifted over a little bit (it would be your left side if you were standing over the engine).

To paint a picture for those of you, here's what happened.
..Im going east on Windsor road, and stopped at the light. The light for the opposite way turns yellow, red. I was creeping a little bit before my light turned green so eager to get my bodykit on. So my light turns green and I as well as the car in the left lane go and at about 12 mph, I shifted into 2nd gear. Right when I shifted, I hear my girlfriend yell and I see for a split second a 99 Black Monte Carlo and then *BOOM*. His whole left side (starting from his front left panel spreading acrous about 2 inches in height all the way across to his back left panel) is dented.

Yep, so that's the story, sorry this post is so long. Be careful you guys. There are some IDIOT drivers out there. As for my car, *sigh* R.I.P. Just finished talking with my dad and I dont want to pay to have it repaired cause' an engine just isn't an engine after an accident like mine. Convinced him to get me another car and he's considering, but eh.... either that or I'm stuck without a car. :banghead:

i feel ur pain bro... same thing happened to me in february. a guy ran a stop sign at an intersection and hit me. ull be hurting for the next cuple days from the whiplash. take it easy and relax.

If the insurance doesn't total it, I'd get a second opinion. Due to an ongoing investigation and litigation I'll just say a second opinion is worth your time.

Sorry, I have been real busy trying to sort things out right now with my insurance company. As for the pictures, I haven't been able to get a ride down to the auto-shop where my car is sitting. From what my dad tells me, we're getting my car fixed and I should have it back in about a month...hopefully it'll run the same but I highly doubt that. A car just isn't a car after an accident like mine.

If anyone could help me out in this bad situation....As of right now, my insurance company is paying for all the damages on my car since the guy who was at fault has bad insurance so he's not paying for anything. Uuuuhhhhhhhhhh, wouldn't everyone in the world get bad insurance so just in case they got into an accident, they wouldn't have to pay for it? How is this fair? How is it that my insurance company is paying for the damages on my car when the other insurance company should be paying for it. *sigh* ... if ANYONE could give me some legal advice, it'd greatly appreciate it.

Thanks ... I'm glad that no one got injured but IMO, I would have rather gotten hurt then my car. I babied my TL and it just kills me that I dont have a car anymore.

My TL was totaled. But since my parents are still making payments on the car, I think we have like 2-3 years left before it's all payed off, my dad wants to fix my car and keep it.
