YOU HAVE TO READ THIS!!!!!
Sorry guys but I am going to vent here. Listen to my story that happened today:
I went to "Professional Sound & Security" today in Jersey City, NJ to get my PIAA 1700x fixed since I bought it there. One of the bulb was not working so I told the manager to take a look at it to see what can be done. So he told one of his employee (who looked like he doesn't know his left from his right) to take a look at my light.
Mind you, I have never touch the PIAAs until I noticed that one wasn't working. All I did was look at it and tapped it to see if maybe it was loose but it wasn't. The casing were still new because I never touched it. So back to the story...
As the guy was working on my car, the manager and I went back inside. After about 20 minutes the manager came to me and said that he is going to have to order the bulb and that to call him tomorrow. So I thought nothing of it and left. I was driving for about 5 minutes when my wife wanted to stop by a store to buy something to drink. As I was waiting for my wife to get back, something told me to check the lights that the guy was working on. To my ****ing surpise, one of the casing on the PIAA was broken where the screw was and the other screw was missing. And on the other casing, both of the screws were only in halfway. The damn thing was about to fall off. Remember, I have never touched these before.
So I drove back and confronted the guy that was working on my lights. Of course he was acting dumb and stupid and like he doesn't know what the **** I was talking about. Then the manager came and I explained the story to him. He looked at the broken casing and said that the guy was not working on that one. SO WHO THE **** DID???? Did it just break by itself. I don't think so. Then he had the nerve to tell me that it looked like someone was trying to break it with a screwdriver before I brought it in. Then he tells me that I was trying to get a free case out of him and giving him a bullshit story. I almost flipped the **** out. I was so ****ing mad that I told him forget about fixing the broken light and just give me a new case for it. This went on for a good 30 minutes. So he finally agree to get a case for me but adamantly denied that the guy did not do it. You should see that ****ing guy's face when I approached him. He didn't have the nerve to look at me in my eyes. You know when you are guilty if you don't look at people in their eyes.
The whole point is that he lost a valuable customer because I even bought rims/tires from him this past summer and I was planning to buy more stuff from him. He can KISS MY ASS now after this shit.
DO NOT GO TO "Professional Sound & Security", they will screw you over big time if anything goes wrong. And if you do, just be careful. Check everything first and make sure you check it again when it is done.

Is there some kind of consumer agency where you can file a complaint, maybe they have had complaints before?? I would aleast file some sort of complaint so they atleast have a record....Good luck!

The best way to get these guys is to put out some money and put it out on the local newspaper about what kind of service you recieved.
It shouldn't be that expensive to do and it would hurt their business considerably.
If not, hire some bum to hold up a sign on the store's street that this place rip's you off. That way your helping a poor guy out for a meal and you expressing you freedom of speech.

I do not know about NJ, but here in Colorado we can take consumer problems to the local news station like channel 7 where they do consumer investigations. If they get a story they really like, they will put the business in question on t.v. They will go down and do interviews with the staff and basically plaster the business all over the news for everyone to see just how crappy they are.
This is kind of extreme, but if you want to expose the fraud and crappy customer relations of this business, then this would be a really good way to do it.

I would never ever go to that store. Why don't you try some other shops some place other than JC or Newark and the like. I know that action tire on rt 46 is pretty good.
