What did you use to glue the tint to the tail lights?

Hey George....I believe he used a smoke tinted spray paint...you just tape up the red part of the tails...and just spray a few light coats until you get the desired color...but don't touch it...gotta let it dry...those little things are expensive tho. Hope this helps.

No problem! hehe! Most aftermarket stores carry them. It's all in japanese. They are like 20 bucks....I can take you to a store down here that has them. I can help you also....we just need masking tape....and newspaper.

are you talking about spraying the tint onto the yellow part of your tail lights?

you can buy that japanese spray (smoke, silver or colored) that will lift off if you get tired of it...er, it's semi-permanent. i think it's not glossy, but sorta dull, so it might not be what you are looking for. however, you can check it out.

My friend used spray paint on his E class..and it looks exactly like the same, but spray paint needed the hard work and some professional skill..if wanna do it good..maybe take off the tail light is needed, so I choose the easy way...tint sticker..doesn't need to take off the tail light..the colors choice are smoke ane red...mm...I guess that's all~ :p

unless you guys are good with the knife, it seems that the tint sticker could be hard to cut out to the exact shape of the taillights. I tried putting window tint over them and it looked pretty good, but cutting it out took awhile and it wasn't perfect looking from up close.

Since then, I removed the tails and spray tinted the amber turn signals with a transparent red hobby spray. It looks cleaner than the tape tint IMO. No danger of some punk coming up and pulling off your tint either.
