pinstripe is easily removed with a pressure washer. just lay into it

or you could pay a dealer/detailer to remove it. i'm sure there is a real method of doing it, i'm just not familiar with it.

it peels off, but you will have to buff the car after a few times.

I never seen a TL with a stripe, keep it for now

peace

I have gold stipes, I didn't notice until after I got home from buying it, so I left it.

use a hair dryer and your fingernail.

Careful with the fingernails - they're harder than the clearcoat and you could wind up scratching it. Try using a hairdryer to soften up the glue and then use your finger to rub the stripe off. Follow up with some Goo Gone to clean up any residual glue that remains. Remember to wax the areas where the pinstripe was.

A claybar and some soapy water might work too along with goo gone on the leftovers. Both are amazing!

Just remember with the fingernails to not dig into the paint - maybe soap up the surface first. I kept my fingernail perpendicular to the paint surface and let my fingernail flex against the decal so only the top of my nail had pressure on the decal rather than onto the paint.

Whoa Whoa Whoa.....

1st, check to see if it's painted or a tape pinstripe.

Paint - go see a professional detailer
Tape - go to an auto parts store and get 3m Auto Adhesive and tar remover, or you can try GooGone.

if it is taped on, just wait for a hot day and try and peel the first corner of it at the tail or nose of the car. Then slowly peel back while lifting a little. Once off the car hit it with goo gone and wax. Since the car is so young i doubt it would have faded much, just get the car waxed or buff and wax yourself.
