Yellow HID bulbs???

are there any yellow HID bulbs out there on the market??
like instead of doing the yellow film and HIDs in the fogs like Alexx has, is there a way to just throw in some yellow D2R bulbs in the housing and get the same effect??

i've been thinking of getting HIDs for the fogs and also want the lexus yellow fog look. I have the Max gold now and really like the look...but i'm afraid that they won't last...so i'm thinking of upgrading to HIDs

Unfortunately there isn't, I checked everywhere. What I might do in the future is take the foglight assembly apart and mold a yellow reflector in there around the D2R bulb, to loose the yellow lens look during the daytime. But I'm not sure if that will work because I don't know if the reflector will melt. Another thing with this, I will have to open up the foglight and then glue the glass back together. The reason why I did my setup is because I was afraid of clearing the headlight, otherwise I'd have 6000K everywhere.

u guys drive around at nite with your yellow fogs on? i stuck with hyper-white fogs cuz it matches my HIDs and they're always on when i turn on my headlights for extra visibility, but to me driving around with yellow fogs seems a lil odd. i dunno, maybe it's cuz there aren't that many cars with yellow fogs and i'm not used to it. dya get extra visibility with those?

but yellow fogs contrasting HIDS might unneccesarily attract the attention of cops. i have hyper-whites and they always come on when my headlights are too and this one time when i was going through a roadcheck, the stupid copper tells me to turn of my fogs cuz it aint foggy. i wanted to say "yeah no sh!t sir. i have em on for added visibility for myself and others.", but decided i should keep my mouth shut and turn em off. and i also could've gotten a warning or ticket for my front window tint which is illegal here. he was shining his flashlight through it, but either it was too dark or my tint was light enough that he couldn't tell i had it (i have 35% all around). so i thought about yellow fogs once, but i figure i don't want to be asking for trouble.

i've had them for about 3 1/2 months. They're not as yellow as they were b4, but good enough for me. It's still not the yellow that i'm looking for. I want them to look like the yellow fogs on the Lexus GS 400s, they're hot!

i dunno...maybe i had to much light shining in his face so he told me to turn em off. the majority of the lexus' i see don't drive around with the yellow fogs on. i just think it could be an excuse for a cop to pull you over to turn em off cuz they may be distracting to other drivers?

Having a HID system in your car without the proper setup causes too much glare (no reflector/projector), but the yellow film reduces the glare. Also depending on your state laws (here in NY it's allowed) if you can drive with only fogs.

Within three months I will custom install a reflector to get rid of the yellow film look during the day (which doesn't bother really but it's just there).

Oh and you're probably more likely to get a ticket with hyperwhite/6000K fogs than with yellow or stock.

My excuse, the cadillacs have them.

I'll tell you one thing, from far away you cannot see your fogs if your low beams are on. But with HID, it's about even.
