I have been emailing this " company " for past 6 months- they answered me 2 times- both were worthless answers..no real care in what they said.. so I got pissed- googled their name under complaints-
and a crapload came up.. see for yourselves.. trust? up to you..i feel
its like a gamble..despite a few having success. dc sports is a respected name- no tarnish- no bs... my 2 cents( btw- if I had gotten a decent reply from them- honesty in a timely manner..I wouldnt be so distrusting. or have googled them..

yea i've emailed ssautochrome a couple times now... no response for about 2 weeks. i'm not gonna go through with it anymore, too sketchy. if they wanted my business they would have replied to me sooner. i'll just wait until some headers hit the bm...

Someone just put up some CT headers for 350 on BM. I jumped on those, but I dunno if someone got them yet. He was also selling CT axlebacks for 150.

I definitely wouldn't trust them. I don't understand how a business is unable to respond to emails of product ordering. That's just saying no to profit.

Just so everyone knows I ordered a set of the new batch and they are the same as the cheap ebay ( double flex pipe) headers. Do not waist your time or money. Spread the word.

Could you explain the double flex pipe thing? I'm not familiar with the header problems.

Also, did it have the bend for the 6 speed?

I got a set of the new batch of XS headers and they are the same as the cheap ebay headers (2 flex pipes). I'm still going to install them I'm just going to wrap the heck out of both flex pipes with header wrap.

Oh ok. Did it have the 6 speed bend in the rear header?

The set I got did not have the bend in it for the 6 speed. I think they (ssautochrome) just got a set off of ebay and put an XS sticker on the box. The welds did look rather clean. I'm putting them in this weekend so we will see what the outcome is.

With all the bolt-ons, a TL-S could make 300hp at the crank. Not at the wheels, but still not bad.

After a 3 hour install by myself all is good. I did use the supplied gaskets becase the flange on both headers looked a little bowed but they are tight now with no leaks. The sound (CL-P with mid muffler delete) is just right and the power gain is very noticable. No fitment issues and I'm over all very happy with the outcome. The only problem now is with my o2 sensor because I think I touched it with my greasy fingers.

This AM when I got in my car a little ways down the road from my house the CEL went off. Also I highly recommend wrapping the down/flex pipe with exhaust wrap (2" X 20' for $15 on ebay). I don't hear any buzzing or ticking at all. Now to see if the headers helps or hurts my gas mileage, that's if I can stay out of it.

Tell us if you get a pair with the rear six speed bend. If it has the bend, it should be a Comptech imitation design which would be awesome.

I have the xs power with the bend for my 6spd and single flex pipe.
I am satisfied with them. they are a little rusty, and it buzzes like a mother which is annoying, but made my car accelerate faster and have more top end which was a plus.
makes a noticeable difference with bigger exhaust.
I am gonna go to a single 2.5" exhaust soon and will do the 2.5" hfc to help as well...opening up the exhaust makes it loud though...gl aziners

If it was as easy as buying cheap headers and wrapping them, CT quality headers wouldn't be selling for $1k.

You get what you pay for.

I wrapped mine and it the headers were just a quiet as stock. My header wrap is loose now and it buzzes a little when the flex pipe is cold/notwarmed up. Once I get driving for a couple of minutes the buzz is not noticable. And again the buzz is really only heard when the flex pipe is cold and when I'm reving between 2500 and 3000. This weekend I'm going to get back under the car and wrapp the j pipe better.

will never truely get rid of the "buzz"..they are stainless steel and hollow, so you hear the noise from the flow..
Wrapping is annoying because it always gets frayed and weathered easily on the bottom of the car...get a good sounding exhaust, and voila, buzz isnt very noticeable....gl guys

So for those of you who want some knock off comptech headers, here's your chance! They are priced at $120.01 SHIPPED ($95 + $25.01 shipping). I'm not too sure if I want to jump on these or not yet because I don't know if I want my exhaust to be that loud.
anybody know if there good quality any problems with exhaust leaks after installation or any problems.

Mine don't do that and never have. If yours do they need to be removed and reinstalled . They do it if forced into place. Not one set I have installed for others have resonated or buzzed
