You should've went a step further and painted the calipers since they were off.

What brand rotors you used? I am looking at comptech X-Drilled but I am also looking for alternatives.

Anyone one used Hawk Pads? Looking for something with more bite. Don't like the metal masters cuz of the squeak and they are harsh on rotors.

 

We got the rotors from irotors.com don't know exactly what brand they are...but they are x-drilled and slotted...they look nice...well when my rotors come in who wants to come over and help me install it?

Thanks, anyone know if they are X-Drilled Brembo blanks? Brembo doesn't recommend that their blanks be X-Drilled.

Looks good, how long did it take. I am about to put mine on, I am just waiting on the pads to come it.

 

we started around 2 somthing and finished around 6.. some of the bolts were very stubborn. .. but we managed

Paul, we swapped the oem pads with Axxis Metal pads.

 

Umm not yet ... even though i can get the turbo kit at cost but still take some time to save up the $$$$

 

it was the philips screws that hold the rotor in place. Better get a good quality impact screw driver set .... Charles and Kev were too cheap to get a good one :p .... Lucky that i brought mine

 

I thought u took more pictures than that .....

 

There are four bolts to loosen in the back to take off the caliper and two screws that needed the impact screwdriver to take off the rotor. I believe they are 14mm and 17mm for the calipers bolts.

 

The other pics have your face in them and I don't want to scare all the TL members away... LOL!!

 

Ahh the power of air compressor, I can all my rotors in 1 hour

 

Its time consuming b/c we didn't have air tools , we had to depend on these slow slaves

 

Nothing beats my spring install documentary..

Paul, they were 90 shipped from RaceConcepts. That's for set of front and rear pads.

 

what do cross drilled rotors do?

 

It helps cooling down the rotors faster.
