did you kill it?...

A buddy of mine wrote off his Accord smoking a deer at 6am going to work... he told me he stood there, drinking the rest of his coffee watching this deer limp to the side of the road and die...

Not sure about your area, but in most places the deer belongs to the person that hits it (if it dies).. most refuse, coincidentially my friend did aswell. The cops often get it taken to a butcher... venison is good meat. Espically a few hundread pounds of it for just the butcher costs..

Here is a funny story, I went over my co-worker house once and I saw he had too nicely sized dear heads mounted on his wall. I was like wow, when did you get those?

He laughs and says, one cost him $6000 and one cost tim $3000. I was a little confused but he explained, he killed them with his car!!

ive hit 2 deer so far. 1 wasn in my grand prix doing about 75 on the interstate and 1 was passing a bunch of cars, i was doing about 100 when it came jumping out. I did that in my dads aurora, supprisingly not too much damage. Both were instant road kill. Knock on wood havent had any close calls in the TL

moose are no joke, when a car hits one it takes out the legs so the body falls right on the passanger compartment, sometimes fatal. i guess camal are no joke too! i hit a dear going 65 b/c some dumb ass hicks were headlight hunting and scared it out into the road which i then obliterated, then the stupid hicks asked if they could keep it, bastards! it cost me $4500 and a previous hit cost $3500. good luck with the repairs, maybe you could find someone that could do it in their garage for a deal.

I almost hit one the other day on my street. It looked as though the deer was waiting until it was safe to cross.
