Question Would You Trade?

Hello everyone.

Would you trade your 03 SSM TLS-Navi w/OEM underbody kit and OEM wood steering wheel, with 16k miles, straight up for a 2002 S2000, Silver with 11k miles?

No flames, just opinions please.

that's a hard decision...those goodies that you have on your TL make the decision even harder

Interesting choice. If you don't need four doors, that seems an acceptable trade, especially if no monies are exchanging handsl. Dealer trade, I assume?

i always said the S2000 is a car only suited to be a second car. everyone should own a roadster at least once in their life, but still, thats a big move from a TL to an S2K....

You have to ask yourself if this vehicle is for you, Like they said before, insurance, utility.
Also based on Blue Book Value:
'03 TLS like yours 27,150
'02 S2000- 26,075
As you can see already 1K difference so depending on what you want, he is winning and you are loosing. My opinion.

There is definitely a small difference in retail price, but the wholesale market seems to have disappeared for my car.

Six weeks ago, I was being offered as high as 27.1k for my car, but mostly in the mid 26's. Now, no one seems to be offering anything beyond the 24's. I am thinking about going to CarMax to see what they say.

As for convenience, I would not use the S2k as my everyday car. I have a 97 Jeep Cherokee Country, 4x4 for that.

I enjoy the handling of the S2k, but would miss the heated seats for winter, top-down driving.

Tough call, I will probably make a decision after I visit CarMax, if the car is still available.

Thanks for the feedback!

Just my wife and me. She'll continue to drive the 03 EX-V6-Navi, I'll move to the 97 Cherokee and use the S2k for fun and on weekends.

well if u said ur wife drives an accord apparently u have that car for family ride, then i said go ahead get the s2000 cause i also own one plus mods as far as comparing it to the 03 TLS cant really compare no matter what you do wit that car its always going to be a luxurious car not for racing the damn car is too heavy i use mine for everyday work.
