Hell, yeah. I'll be ready about the time they come out with the TL replacement that comes with rear wheel drive, V8, and all the goodies.

Ditto - the QX-4 lease is up in just under 12 months. We'll look at the new QX-4, Pathfinder and the new Honda Pilot, too.

Without a doubt I'd buy another. I want to see how long this one lasts without drivetrain problems since I maintain it very well.

I already have my deposit down on a 2002 MDX....answer is YES.
Although I would say that after I am tired of the TL in a couple of years, I probably would go to a BMW or Lexus....that is if I can afford it

I am probably done with Acura/Honda for a while.

I am currently totally sold on BMW. Just too much fun to pass up.

My daily driver would probably be replaced by lexus or toyota. I had string of bad luck on honda with their quality. The last 3 honda/Acura i have owned have suffered numerous problems.

I've already had four, and as long as they make a vehicle that fits the profile and price range I'm looking for, I'm sure I'll get a fifth.

I'm planning on keeping my TL-S forever....if I ever do plan on buying another Honda or Acura, just like SlyTLS, I'll probably get an NSX for summer/weekend fun.

This is my second Acura, and based on my love for my TL, I'd buy another one.

Unless of course I had the money for a GS300/430.

Absolutely.

As long as they don't screw up the next gen. TL, that will be my next car. Otherwise I'll invest in a new M3.

I would definately buy another Acura product. I will likely get either another TL or an MDX if my wife gets her way. As such MDX it is.

Question The Jury Is Still Out !

I did not take the poll,,,just yet; because the Acura Dealer is suppose to replace our 2002 TLS. We were suppose to have it before Christmas and we are still waiting. We got the car the last of August 2001 and have been attempting to resolve the problem ever since.

In a nutshell, if the dealer replaces the car as "Promised" and the replacement is a good car, then we will consider Acura again. If they fail to keep their promise, then there will no more Acura/Honda products in this household again. And for the record the 6 previous Acura/Hondas were great cars.

The General Manager will be back on Monday, so we should know (I pray) this next week.

I'll surely buy another Acura product! But if they could make the build quality a little better, i would DEFINITELY buy another Acura!

1982 Honda Civic DX coupe (bought used w/20k miles, 1989)
1983 Honda Civic sedan (bought used, 1990)
1991 Honda Civic base coupe (bought new, 1991)
2001 Honda Accord EX
2002 Acura TL-P

I'm a Honda guy. All cars but the 1983 Civic (bought used, was a piece of crap because of the previous owner) I've had great luck with, with excellent build quality, including my TL-P. My next car will probably be another Acura, if the next TL isn't jacked up. I could always move up to a Beemer, but the upkeep costs kept me from seriously considering one on this outing, though I could afford it.

Just in case you're curious, between the '91 and '01 Hondas, I owned three "American products". Of course I consider myself having bought American again--the TL was designed in Cali, and built right here in Ohio.

Hell yes, I used to own a 89 Integra, now a 99 TL and 01 MDX. My parents have a 01 Odyssey. My sister has a 2 door 01 Accord V6 coupe. My brother just bought a silver CLS. Did I say yes?

One day, the NSX will be mine.

I would definetly get another. I just love the MDX, but realistically I'll probably will only be able to afford a Accord Coupe. :p Worst case scenario, Civic.

Acura TL-S -- Great value and an excellent CAR!

I guess you know how I voted! I love the performance, comfort and value on this car--
It would have been nice to have a 330I series Bimmer, but I am not willing to forego the extra 10 grand or so to get a comparably equipped BMW. Now if the Bimmer was only TWO grand more than the TL-S. . . : )

If Acura doesn't have anything new that is better than the current Type-S, then I am going to get a Lexus V8. I had bad service experiences with ALL Honda dealers (CA and MN) years ago when I had a Honda. I wrote a letter to Honda and they didn't do anything about the bad services at the dealerships and just told me to talk to the service manager before I decide whether I want to do business with that dealership I sent an email to Acura Owner Link to ask a general question around Christmas time and still waiting for an answer from Acura Owner Link customer service. Not sure why Acura/Honda doesn't do better in the area of customer service after all these years.

Only Acura I would get is an NSX! But that is a lil farther down the road.

I am not sure why my family has never bought a Honda product seeing as they are great cars. I think it may be the styling.......

Interesting point. I happen to feel that the current crop of Civics and Accords is pretty bland. That was actually one reason I didn't buy an Accord for myself--couldn't stand the look, though my wife enjoys the styling of the one I bought for her. It's as if the designers at Honda went on vacation. The height of Honda styling was exemplified by cars like the 1990 Prelude (my favorite Honda by far, especially with 4-wheel steering!), the Accords of the late 80's and early 90's, the del Sol, and the S2000. The styling on the TL was much more appealing than most Hondas.

I have to agree. I considered trading in my wonderful 97 Accord LX-V6 for an 01 Accord EX-V6 before I considered the TL, and I was put off by its boring design inside and out.

I suppose Honda's principle has changed over the years to making cars that are so plain and innofensive that no-one will have any reason to hate them.

HAHA... I am with you, actually.... As much as I like my TLS, it's just not up to European Cars' level yet.... especially body/chassis structure.... I am kind of neutral, but leaning toward "No"... so, I voted "No" as well.... unless Japanese can build a car as tight(structure-wise) as BMW or MB..... I would stick with European brands...

Look at it this way: Look below at my mileage and here is what I've had to repair so far 1) one rotor 2) one heat element in heated seat 3) lube sunroof gasket twice. Thats it! Not too bad for the miles covered. Lots of Mobil1 oil changes too. Trying to make it to 250,000.

Thumbs up Good percentage FOR Acura!

Well, it looks as though there will be a solid 80-85% in favor of buying another Acura product. That sounds like a pretty good ratio for any manufacturer.
