Question Wood Trim Kit

Anybody ever order and install any of the after-market wood trim kits? The one thing I really hate about this car is the fake wood trim. Spending $30k+ ought to buy the real thing IMHO.

If so, how does it look and was it hard to install?

thx

I tried a kit from www.alkaplus.com for the low, low price of $150. I mean, the site looked reputible enough. After I got it, the quality was so lousy that I immediately took it off, shipped it back, and demanded a full refund on the very principle that they could market such a cheap lincoln-loggish kit as an acceptible accessory for our fine Acuras. Just be warned that all woodkits are not created equal. If you buy a cheap one, the color, finish and quality will be cheap too.

IMO, the factory wood might not be completely real, but it looks the part and is more durable than the real thing. A good kit, like the one from this forum should (I've heard) match the OEM existing wood perfectly.
