Wood Trim acceptable gaps

I purchased a wood trim kit and have a dispute with the MFG about the acceptable gaps between the wood and either existing wood or original black. Is seeing black between two wood components (driver door for instance) or having the right side of shifter trim half as wide as the left acceptable? The radio piece is twisted too so the CD buttons rub. Gaps range for 1/16 - 1/8 inch.

The company (wooddashfactory.com) has hung up on me twice after saying all kits have these gaps. I've filed a complaint with visa to try to get a credit.

Any opinions/suggestions? I want nice wood rather than my money back. The pics I see on this site seem to very "tight".

that gap is acceptable. They can't make it too tight, on a hot day it wood trim expands and will buckle if it is too tight

Buttons rubbing is not acceptible, neither is poor customer service. However, all woodtrim kits that I've seen have some variations. They're each cut out individually, not cast from a mold, so you can expect some variations in size. It's as good as we can get with wood trim stickers I suppose.

Thanks. It makes me feel better to know I'm not alone.
