When i am going 60+ on the highway and i do medium breaking my entire car wobbles. Are the break rotors damaged? Or the tire alignment off?

Was there any recent panic stops or other strange braking
How many miles on the brakes
Best way to inspect is remove wheels and look!
Or take it to a shop for diagnosis
Its not always brakes

Typically its the brakes (especially on this car) when your braking and you get shaking. To someone thats really not sure what they are looking for what are they looking for if they take off the wheel?

Kris

I was intending that to mean-
If you dont know a lot about cars, then take it to a shop who will remove the wheels and inspect the brakes for you.

The possibilty exist of bent rim, worn tie rods and other parts that COULD
be a part of or the actual problem.

I just like to know whats really wrong before buying parts whenever possible!

When that same problem happened to me it was due to warped rotors.

In most cases it is the rotors
AND it can also be glazed pads or a bad caliper
One must check everything and do the job right!

Ya im going to take off my tires and see whats wrong. Most likely the rotors or tire alignment. Is it worthit to get drilled/slotted rotors with stock break pads?

it depends on your intentions for performance really, but yeah it should be ok to use drilled/slotted rotors w/stock pads.

You wont benefit from the rotors improved cooling with stock pads- its not worth it
If going to better rotors invest in some Hawk pads to go with them
www.hawkperformance.com
And there is really no need for more than slotted on our cars- the drilled- unless very expensive ones- are often dangerous and wear pads out faster- for real race cars- another matter!
