Yeah it's raining in So Cal. Last week I noticed they were leaving a black residue at the stop/return point of the cycle, but it wasn't enough to complain. But during today's storm, the freakin marks are getting DARKER! Anyone else get this? Do I have to replace the POS blades?

Time for a trip to the dealer. This is a known problem and your dealer should resolve it by replacing the wiper blades thoroughly cleaning the windshield and draining the washer bottle tank and refilling it with the correct mix of washer fluid to water.Jens

I have the same thing on my winshield, it's not bad enough to complain though.

Thanks all. I'll be seeing the dealer - especially the guy who sold me the car cuz I specifically asked him about this problem during the test drive and he made a face like "what the hell are you talking about".

I have the same problem, even with new wipers! When I took the car in for service, they said it was fine! ![](http://www.acura-tl.com/ubb/mad.gif)

Keyes Acura in Van Nuys replaced my blades and drained the fluid for me last month. My blades are leaving tiny lines at the return point, but they do go away as the rain continues.
I'm more pissed about the f...ing seats that keep creaking, and yes, I know there is a fix for it, but I haven't gotten to the dealer yet to take care of it.

I have the same freakin problem with my wiper blades and my sunroof is making noises too. I am going to take it into the dealer to get it fix before my warranty runs out (50K).
