WingsWest spoiler for TL-S

Hey guys, I installed the WW spoiler a while back but this is my problem...when my car is tilt (like in a driveway) the trunk won't stay open because of the weight of the spoiler....anyone has a solution?....an idea? HELP ... I have a couple of stitches on my head from a jack knife of my trunk....

Hate it too. I just got my WW spoiler on last week and I've been clunked twice. Just don't hang out under and you should be fine. I love the wing, it's so smooth!

There are tensioners (sp?) that can be adjusted or replaced. That's why when you have a factory spoiler there aren't any problems.. b/c the dealer adjusts them to compensate for the weight of the spoiler. When you install a spoiler after you pick up the car you will have to adjust the tensioners yourself.

I picked up my TL with no spoiler.... picked up aftermarket that was identical for $205 painted. The springs i got from the dealer for $30 and he installed them for free cause he owed me a favor.

Its $30 for the high tension springs from the dealer, but you CANNOT put them in yourselves, unless you have the tool, or a death wish. Dealer was going to charge me $40 to put them in.
