I am going to buy a spoiler and can't decide what to buy. I have a choice of buying a oem factory spoiler painted and shipped for $175

Or

A WingsWest flush mount spoiler which should cost about $120.00 + $100 for install and paint

What would you do?
NEED OPINIONS

Thanks

I don't think they're going out of business. From what I've read they're relocating and opening up a production plant in the states.

EDIT: Here's what they say on their website:

To: Valued Wings West Consumers
From: Wings West International, Inc.
Date: January 31, 2005
Subject: Wings West International, Inc. will be temporarily closed for 2 months

Dear Valued Consumers,

This is the first official announcement being made regarding the changeover of Wings West to Wings West International, Inc. While the name is new, the products and our quality have not been compromised.

Wings West International, Inc. will be temporarily closed for approximately two months for restructuring. To better serve our customers, we will be bringing the manufacturing plant into the States to advance quality control and to provide timely production to meet our dealer demand.

Our customer service department will be up in two weeks from the date of this memo to answer any questions or concerns you may have. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Please be patient with us during this time, we hope to continue our business relations with you in the near future. Thank you.

Sincerely yours,

Wings West International, Inc.

Assuming the little nubs on the bottom of the trunk are indicators for the OEM wing, the wings west will match up pretty well with the OEM holes.

a-spec wing looks just like the oem spoiler...the only difference is that there is a light at the top 2 corners...it is by far the best spoiler out there for our cars...n very xpensive...u can get them in canada...i called richmond, vancouver for a price n they said its around $800 without S&H...

My vote goes to A-spec first, then Wing west. OEM looks too boring to me.

The A-Spec and Inspire wings are about the same? Is there any difference between the two? I like that Inspire wing. I think I just made up my mind on what wing to go with. How much was your wing? And where did you purchase it from?

It's pretty much same except for the light on the top. Aspec has RED and INSPIRE has GREEN.

But I modified mine to orange bulb and to be turned on with the signal.

How much do those wings go for? And where would I go to purchase something like that?

I've heard you cannot order any Aspec parts unless you own Aspec TL. You can try aj-racing.com and ask them if they can order you INSPIRE spoiler from Japan. It might cost you some $$$.
