Wings West vs Factory Spoilers
#6
Let me be the minority, West Wing or no wing for me. IMO. the OEM wing looks and reminds me of an Accord wing. Plus it somehow doesn't look right to me when I'm behind a TL with the OEM wing.
Just my opinion, I bought the W/W spoiler a while back but I didn't get it painted yet, no rush cause I'm liking the body kit with no wing look so far
It's not a easy decision for me because drilling holes on the trunk lid is involved. I'll get it painted one day and "dry" fit it at first and debate the look before I do so.

Pros of both:
WW:
- cheaper
- more unique (not too many have it)
OEM:
- better fit and finish
- LED light
IMO, they both compliment the lines of the TL very well. It's just a matter of personal taste. I'd go with the WW one, but wished they made it with an LED. Good luck.

I thought that too. I was ready to go get it in Japan but saw more pictures of the Value spoiler and began to feel that it's pretty big, but the deciding factor was the fact that being such a rare and expensive wing/spoiler, some P.O.S. would probably rip it off my car:wow:

I changed my mind on everything regarding which wing. I was enlightened by seeing this photo and must declare this to be the BEST wing to have IMO.......Period.
Billyvader, I reccomend these as you can see they may give you that X-Wing, Tie Fighter feel/look to your TL. Amazing isn't it?
Ya know I'm being sarcastic.....right?:p

There isn't really much of a difference except the big difference between the oem and ww bodykits are the side skirts.
WW = More agressive side skirt, and the back end extends a little lower.
OEM = Clean bodykit.

Be real different, and put the WW on TOP of the OEM. Hmm?
I prefer the WW, because I (emphasis on "I") like the lines of it better. That matters on a white car. Plus, I don't like how the OEM has an LED. It makes it look like an afterthought because of the brake light in the rear window. If you get the OEM, I think you should disable the rear window brake light; looks better.
