I just bought my wife a TL Type-S and was curious to see if "total" coverage window tint is ok with the gps and radio antenna being on the windows in that mesh looking stuff? Or should i just tint the areas around that?

 

My entire rear window (over the bumps too) is tinted with a Centaur tint which has metalic in it and I haven't experienced any problems with my navi. Other people have had problems so it's a hit or miss situation. Another thing to consider is how often are you going to use your nav? If it's once in a while you should be fine.

 

it should be okay. it won't ruin your reception. the only way to ruin it is by cleaning your back window from inside. when you do that, wipe it from side to side (parallel with the lines) dont wipe up and down. you'll be okay.. by the way.......where in houston are you at?
