Window Issues
So, My girl was winding down the passenger window to talk to me, and i heard *bang* and the window stopped operating.
Upon coming back to the car, I (in hindsight, probably idiotically) pressed the button to try to make it work. It went down when I pressed up.
I assume this is a general issue with the make and model, as both back windows have been... made manual by a previous owner.
Any idea what's wrong? What will it take to bring it back to factory spec? and what can I do in the mean time to make my life liveable? (see: air conditioning)
Keep in mind i live in Sarasota Florida, it rains every day at approximately 4PM, and it's hotter than hades the rest of the day.

Its not a general or known issue sorry to say.
Most likely the Window Motor decided to die.. Its not cheap but it isn't that expensive to fix either, if you know your way around cars you can DIY.
PS: Do you really have manual windows in your rear doors?

BANG! is usually associated with the cable snapping or the window coming off its track
Open up the door panel and remove plastic- carefully
inspect with flashlight for dangling parts or obvious problem
There are only a few things in there, a junkyard may provide fastest replacement track but a cable I would get new if possible
all else fails go to a glass shop- preferably one next to a junkyard! no kidding
