Question Wind Deflector ???

I've seen many 02' and 03' TL-S on the road and haven't seen too many sporting wind deflectors. I am thinking about putting one one mine to help reduce the wind noise when open ... but want to know if there are concerns or issues related to it since no one else seems to have them on.

Thanks!

I have one and I really like it. I think it looks fine and it's sure a lot quieter when you open the sunroof. It also helps to filter the sun a bit and you can open the sunroof when it's raining

Thumbs up

I have had mine on my TL since day one & that was over 2years ago. I also had one on my 1994 ACCORD when I purchased it new. I had that car for 6years with no problems with the car paint or visor.

I have one on my 03 TLS. I think it works great and looks great. The only down side is when washing its tuf to get under the visor and when drying you need to open the roof to get to the glass and the under side of the visor.

I like mine. I had not intended to have one but when I test drove my car, it was there. When the salesman asked me if I wanted to purchase it, I said no. When I picked up the car a few days later, it was still attached, so I took it with me!

There's a function to it. It provides wind protection and helps shade you when the roof is open. I plan on keeping it.

I also didn't want to install it and change the clean look of the roof.

I am sure I would consider it though if people say it really is worth it.

Cost and Installation

What is the cost of the deflector and is it pretty easy to install? Or should I have the dealer install if they offer some type of warranty?

Hey man, not to be a flame or anything, but if you can operate a motor vehicle, you sure can install that deflector. Installation is a 2 minute thing. The most time consuming step is to make sure the left and right side of the deflector has equal distance from the edge.

No offense taken...

Does the ease in installation imply there is no drilling required?

I assumed there was drilling required.

Also, what is the price for the deflector?

Thanks,

No drilling, and I believe $65 from this site, if you click the accessories button above.
