Will this void warranty?
It won't violate the entire warranty, but *could* cause a denial of warranty service for a failure related to the ECU. So if, say, one of your seat motors crapped out, that would still be covered no questions asked. But if you started getting starting/idling/shifting problems and the dealer could attribute some of the cause to the RSM, then your warranty claim would most likely be denied. As always, it depends on which dealer you go to and your attitude towards the service department when you get there.
