Will they fit

I'm just buying a 00 TL for the first time and i wanted to put the 03 headlights on the front, but it looks like the headlights are bigger on the 03 than the 00 and I wanted to know if there were some way I could make it fit?

Nope, they won't fit. You'll need to do a 02-03 front conversion.

Hey Josh, I like the newer '03 headlamps as well, but it's quite a bit of bother and added expense to replace all the parts for a conversion. You may've been better off looking for an '03 TL instead of the 2000 model.

I'm sure that someone has attempted to find a way to rig them.....with a dremel in hand, grind baby grind ! Still would end up with a ghetto look, as they do not fit.

03s are different reflector types than early years
we all have HID but 03 have projector beam setup iirc

better to get a new ballast and bulb kit to restore like new color and output to your lights
try www.hidextra.com $59 kit no extras needed
5000k bulbs are better for seeing with-- than higher numbers IMO
