I'd be cautious about using those DL50 bulbs. A google search of "DL50", "D2R" and "Acura TL" only turned up 4 hits. and they were all eBay links.m That's not a good sign.

And the seller has zero feedback.

Why not just get the OEM 4300K D2Rs?

I wouldn't put any bulb in that requires more wattage than OEM. This could lead to blown bulbs or worse melted housings or ballast/igniter damage.

Going up in wattage on HID bulbs isn't a good idea. With halogen bulbs, it'll just pull more power through the wires and maybe blow the fuse. With HID bulbs, you're gonna be pulling more power through the ballast, and I'm not sure how that's gonna screw with the electronics.

Good point.

I would recommend a pair of new D2R bulbs. I bought new Philips D2R bulbs from that same ebay seller for less than $35 each with shipping. The bulbs work great.

That particular seller doesn't seem to have any new D2R bulbs available at the moment.

Good to know Bob. My driver's side bulb starting turning pink last night so I guess it's time for new bulbs. I saw those bulbs on ebay, but wanted to make sure they were cool before I bought them. The best thing is that my mechanic told me that he would put them in for no charge. w00t!

Yeah, that's my bad. I've seen that same seller with new bulbs for a good price, I just didn't pay real close attention to the description.
