JR only makes a supercharger package (Eaton makes the actual blower)for the Honda B18. Where did you see it for a CL? Comptech makes one for the TLS and the CLS. There is lots of past discussion. Just do a search.

I hope they do! JR has a great rep and it would be nice to have a choice. Please ask Mr. Jackson to check out this site if has any question on interest in a TL-P or TL-S blower or turbo.

Where or from who? That's the first I've heard. Not that it means much.

Comptech uses the same blower as Jackson Racing. The rest of the kit is where CT and JR get invloved. No complaints on either one.

On the Comptech/TL-S, no dyno or track time yet. I'm still setting up the wideband o2 set-up. It's only been 2 weeks, but I'm very happy with the gains and proformance.

On the Jackson/Civic Si, Should be 230 whp and low 13's, yet to be verified, along with the TL-S. Flawless so far, after daily beatings from an 18 year old, and a few from the old man, since the first of the year.

Hey MODaddict, your son is one lucky kid. I wish I had a modded out Civic SI or some other import, but I can't complain a TL Type S is no slouch. i just don't have the $ for mods yet....
p.s. I hope your son appreciates and drives it like it is meant to be driven

Trust me, you're better off with the TL-S! Treat her Right.

I dont go to the drag strip, and the dyno is on their web site. I run 40-50k miles per year up and down the highways. Alot of the time with the radio off and talking to someone thanks to Verizon or taking a customer to the local diner. The Si is much quicker but it's loud as hell and rides like an old Civic. It was set up to be a street racer for an 18 year old. The TL-S is being set up for what my needs are. It's all about what you want or need, not what someone else thinks. Yes I do think it was worth it for me. Is it worth it for you? Only if you have the 4k to spend on a blower you really don't need!

MODaddict you didin't need to build a torque concerter for your TL to work with the super charger. THat's what everybody tells me to do.

My previous experience with JR was when I installed a JR engine kit on my '87 4-door hatchback Integra. Engine kit consisted of racing cams, headers, and exhaust. Awesome power gains and believe me, racing that Teg was a blast. Had to replace the exhaust because it rusted out (it wasn't stainless steel). Eventually sold my Teggy to my sister, who after a few years, sold it to one of my acquaintances. He's still driving it, and it is still running strong. I think that speaks volumes about the durability of JR.

i know you meant torque conVerter. I'm not sure what "everybody" is talking about. I assume our auto tranny has one allready, and if not, it works just fine the way it is. I did install the transmition cooler that came with the kit, but that's it.
