Will it be a direct fit and will everything plug-n-play as well?

if not what features would i lose. i know there is an automatic tilting on the 02-03 which im sure i wont get and dont mind. i am just in need of a new mirror because mine dont look aesthetically pleaseing

Everything will work except the tilt down feature for reverse.

As far as the color goes, as long as it's the same paint code it will match.

Any way to get the tilt feature? With the 02-03 mirrors? And is that the only difference between the 99-01 and the 02-03? Also, noticed a light blueish tint, does that serve as anything? Such as the auto Dimming mirror? Thanks!

Can't get the tilt feature in the 99. The tilt functionality is part of the ECU.
Blueish tint is just that, a tinted mirror. It does not auto dim.

I for one like the 99-01 mirrors better, they look sportier as they seem smaller and less boxy to me. I just wish I could get the blue tint, would make the car look newer!

they are pretty much the exact same except for the 02-03 are actually much better. They redesigned the angle by the window to direct wind flow away from the window (and bugs) ive wanted to get them since i saw the difference. Im sick of bugs hitting me in the head and splattering on my window because the mirror directs them at you and the window.

Perhaps sportier wasn't the correct word. I think the 99-01 lights flow with the lines of the car better, and I've never been hit by bugs with my window open so I don't really care.

ive been hit by bugs and rocks. the 02-03 were also redesigned to reduce wind noise.

yup ive gotten hit by shit too, never knew it was cuz of the mirror, im gonna find some 02-03 see if its better

Yep, for both issues. I hate it. My seat and face in the summer look like i was on a motor cycle.

That's funny! Fortunately, I haven't had that problem in my 99. I do however like the newer mirrors better.
