Ok guys I got some bad news. I was sitting on my throne (toilet) reading a magazine and I here my wife pull the car into the garage. She then walks up stairs straight to the bathroom I was in and taps on the door. I answer, “honey I am in the bathroom don’t bother me” then in a scared voice she replies, “ I need to tell you something” I am thinking god couldn’t this just wait. “ Ok honey what is it” “I rear-ended a SUV with your car.” “OH **** “ good thing I was on the toilet because I **** a brick or two. I have never wipes my ass so fast in my life. As I am pulling up my shorts I am thinking god the front end of my car has to be mangled. I am running down stairs about to cry and open the garage door and BAM there is my car. All it has is a whole in the bumper. I turn around and look at my wife and she is balling her eyes out. What looks like happened was she hit the SUV’s tow hitched and pierced the bumper. Boy was I happy it wasn’t the whole front end my car. So guys how much is a new painted bumper cost and how much to install or could I do the install my self? Is it hard to do? I posted some pics of my bumper so you guys could see it.

what you need to do is get the Value bumper w/fogs. It is very very Very easy to take off the front bumper. takes about 10 minutes. Why buy a stock bumper when this is just a good reason to get the value one.

did the dog attached to your front bumper get hurt?

 

That was my engine mod that I did. It really helps when you are in the low rpm range. You should feel the hit when the VTEC kicks in though. You just have to make sure you don't pull in to far when parking and ram him up against the curb. He is the third one I had to get because of that.

 

This is one of the funniest sh*t I ever read... hahaa!!! But I am truely sorry about the damage. Luckily it wasn't that severe. Hope you get it fix soon.

If I were you, I'd just sue the SUV guy for allowing that Taco Bell dog to somehow get attached to your bumper during the accident!!

Don't claim insurance on a minor accident like that. I bet it would cost less then the deductable alone. Not to mention you don't want it on your wife's record...

for now, won't putting the front plate back on cover most of that? Might help your anger by hiding it for a while.

you could patch and paint...the cheaper alternative to a new bumper! putting on the license doesn't sound bad if it does the trick.

 

Those are both very good ideas. The plate will help cover the sore till I get a new bumper. If I partched it i would feel bad that I half assed it. I really want that value bumper. That thing is pimp looking. Just want to say thanks for all your guys help.
