Like once a week my sound system, when turned up past about the 3rd notch of volume, will spazz out and give me some wierd ass noises like as if wires were out of wack or something. like buzzing feedback kinda. Anybody expereince this with their stock system?

I dont want to have to bring it in to the dealer to have them rip it all out and f somethign up some more.

I get similar feedback when I move my cell phone near the center radio/HVAC stack in my 03 TLP. My phone is a GSM digital phone. It would make the most significant noise when changing towers or while I was actually on the phone, but it would make the noise when it was not active and I simply waved the phone in front of the stereo.

hmm, now that I think about it, I have a GSM phone too, and I was in a bad cell area where my phone switches from various towers, and to make ur advise even more credible, I had my phone in the little slot under the ash tray. Thanks for the info, I wont put my phone there any more!

 

My phone emits "morse code" dots through the stereo when it's resting in the pocket in front of the shift knob. It's usually when switching towers, or when a call is about to come in. When the phone rings, the sound system just buzzes until I pick up the phone and pull it away from the stereo receiver.

yeah that happens.....not in my car but in the computer or TVs in the house.....emits a beep beep beep beeeeeeep beeeeeeeeep
