wierd...

today was the first time i let my mother drive my tls. i have a 2003 tls with aem cai and comptech exhuast.

my mom is not into cars what so ever. i mean she has no interest in cars, it would be like saying us tl owners would rather trade in our tl's for a 1992 geo metro.

well while she was driving, she said a comment about the tl that made me grin and made me even more proud to own a tls.

she said "wow this car goes out amazingly, i mean it hits 40mph in no time".
i was like wtf did that come from?
i was re playing what she said in my head then started to grin.

oh man this made my day. cause it just goes to show that even my mother notices how well the tls goes out.

she be the last person who i think would mention anything about my car.

Not to be off subject, but speaking of pulling over without your license. What would be the penalty for that? Couldn't I just tell the cop I forgot it at home? I know they would probably write me up and show up for court, but would there be any charges? I could just go to court and show them my license and off I go right?

It is only a "fix-it' ticket. No points on your DL. However, most people I know do not have the luxury of taking 2-3 hours off in the middle of the day to show up at the courthouse.

Better safe than sorry.

You did the right thing 'asloudasitgets'

thanks andysara. i dont want to have to take time to show up to court to prove that i have a licence.

its ridiculous that the cops dont have info on thier compters about who has a a licence and who dont.

why dont the cops know anyways?
