The fastest I've in in the 99TL was 210 km/h

156 mph is ONLY 255.87 km/h

Now I have to try and break my speed record of 147 mph in stock form! Now that I have headers and a cai, I think I can break the 150 mph mark. I just have to find a nice straight road with no cops around.:p

BTW, I forgot if you had any engine mods. And what was the condition like (temp, wind, sea level, stock/mod, any passenger)? And how long did it take you to reach 156 mph?

 

I did 151 like 3 years ago a couple months after i put on the headers.

 

I thought all cars in the US have this chip that limits the speed to like 120 or something. I must be wrong

BadazzTL: first get ur tranny, your gauges and your shocks fixed, get new tires and get ur bumper painted and then try backing up

 

I don't think a trooper will even chase you if they catch you going that fast. They would probably just flash there blues and call it in, hoping you would slow down. I don't have the balls to take my car over 110 yet, although it was raring to got on a few occasions.

 

how long did you have to keep pushing the gas to get past 147 to 156?

the highest ive gone is 135ish, im too afraid to go faster than that

 

When I hit 147 mph, it was taking a little long. But I am assuming it will be faster this time since I have a cai and headers now.

 

Are you sure you didn't have 100mph tail wind when you broke the record

Tl top speed is limited by wind resistance and the ratio of the driver's sanity level divided by androgen level minus IQ.

Everything is really good. I'm in tech school right now taking electornics here in the Air Force, I will be here in San Antonio until january, then I get shipped out to sheeperd for more school, I have about 7 months of school before I can start working.

I have intake and exhaust. The conditions were all in my favor. Temp = 50F...Wind = 15m approx...about 4k feet above sea level. 2 passengers. It was a beautiful day. It got there very quick too.
