Why TL NOT in stick shift?
I don't understand why the TL is the only car from Acura that does not have the manual option for the transmission. If the CL can have manual, so can the TL. It just sucks that its not manual... without manual simply the racing feeling is absent.
No matter how much mods you do to it, stick shift is the base of a racing car.

Its because these cars are meant for older guys and most want automatic. It simply is not economical to produce manual trannys for a few consumers as it costs too much.

Dude you guys have some serious attitude problems. It seems pretty obvious that the RL does not have manual since the TL doesn't I don't think I need to state it so you guys can know that.

I very much agree with you that stick shift is the base of a racing car. But the TL-S is no race car, it's a family sedan, so no stick shift. The CL-S and the Accord coupe are more of a race car than the TL-S, so they have stick shift. You probably got yourself a wrong car.

on top of that i dont think the 04 sticks will sell either. maybe a 3rd gen type S with 6 spd now that would work!

This my friend is why it isnt adv yet.$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Well, keep in mind that the target market for the TL is middle aged men/women who make some pretty good coin. 99% of those people do NOT want to drive a stick in a luxo sedan.
However, that said, the new 2004 TL is coming with a 6-speed manual as an option on it's HPT (High Perfomance TL) model, so, anyone who would want a stick in a TL will now have that option. All you'll need to do is wait another 2 months or so for the TL launch and the TL will join the CL, RSX, TSX and NSX as Acura models with manual trannies.....
BTW, I think the reason you're getting a lot of attitude in your posts is because most of the topics you start have already been discussed several times. If you use the search before you post you'll probably get about 75% of your questions answered. For example, we've been talking about the 2004 TL for easily over 10 months now, and the confirmed info on the TL getting a stick has been available for almost a month and a half.
