He's not looking for the DVD navigation disc files that are used in the 2000-2003 Acura TLs. He's looking for the regional files that are loaded in the PCMCIA hard drive based unit used in the 1999 TL.

Many dealers used to load these files for free. Unfortunately, the equipment often fails over time and the dealerships lose the ability to load the files.

So it can be a pain to find these regional files.

Thanks Bob, you are right on. If I could get this done through any of my Acura dealers, I wouldn't have been subjected to the response from the immature member above.
Anyways, 3 different dealers in my area with broken equipment and no plans to get them fixed to service Acura owners. I figured, since I purchased the car, I would have paid for at least one copy of the software especially since I can't buy a replacement fro or get any support from Acura, Alpine, or even NavTeq. That is why I posted to see if I can get help from other members which I think is the purpose of creating the forum. Thanks you again Bob.

 

Well next time you should state that instead of asking for the disc, which is illegal. Thats where the confusion came in, causing the threads to be deleted.

 

Thx. I didn't ask for a copy of a "disc", I asked for an image copy of the "hard drive" for a 99RL or 99TL which are not DVD based for this model year after trying all local dealers while willing to pay them for it.
