Why does my TL NOT play CD-R's?
Why does my 99 TL-P not play burned cd's (CD-R)? I bought the car new in 1999 and haven't really tried CD-R's in it until recently. I also have a 98 CL and a 2002 CL, and they both play burned cd's fine.
Whenever I put a burned cd into the TL it makes weird squeeky noises through the speakers and takes a few minutes and finally the cd starts playing..but if i dare touch the volume or switch tracks, or switch the the radio for a sec the cd will stop. IS there any fix or is it just the way they were made? Would a CD player lens cleaner work??
