For something so simple, it's a disaster to get to work properlly.

I give up on it.

Took me only a minute to program it. It was as simple as pushing two buttons.

If my 87 year old neighbor can figure it out in her Accord, so can you.

It took me less than a minute to program all 3 buttons. But I don't have rolling codes on the garage door.

Still, I heard that it's not that difficult even with rolling codes.

Thumbs up

Come on guys, you're not making him feel any better by saying how easy it was to program it. I had the same problems at first but if you follow the instructions in the manual carefully it's doable. The rolling codes are a little more challenging.....just alittle.

Once you get it, you don't have to program it again, not even if you disconnect the battery.

I had problems and called homelink directly. They were very helpful. I could not find the program button on my garage untill they told me I had to unscrew and take off the top cover, which was where the button to program was located. Call homelink!

Well, my problem is that I can hold the button down for about 10 minutes to try and clear the previous code, and it will not delete it. I can't overwrite the previous code, and I can't delete the old one.

I had the same problem, and I have no clue how I fixed it but it works fine now.

ZeroPsi,

Did you hold down the outside 2 buttons until the led starts to flash slowly (like 20 seconds)? that erases all of the programing in the homelink. Try that first and start from scratch. Maybe that will help.

Did search for homelink and found this...not sure if it applies. If not, do a search and review the findings:
