this is what we found when my friend and I went to the parking lot at the car show today. this was my friend's TL... I would have been homicidal! I was totally pissed as it is and it's not even my car. He got the plate and registration, but I don't know what he will or even can do about it.

I live in New York and I get to see this sh*t every day. These people have no respect for anyones property. New cars seem to attract them like magnets. When I bought my 98 Accord I came out of the dealership, parked by a store to buy something, came out and already had a scratch on my rear bumper. I almost killed the woman that did it( Needless to say I made her pay for it).

when you park and a car parks right beside you that its so close that you have to squeeze in just to get into your door, because they let you no room or space so annoying! ::venting::

I would have been fuming too. I might have put on my metal golf spikes and pushed off before I left!

 

When i was in high school, if anyone parked too close to my Integra i used to key the crap out of their car. Stupid thing to do in hindsight, but it made me feel good. Just felt like that was retribution for damage that could have been inflicted on my car.

He didn't even bother to apologize. So after he left, I keyed the shit out of his POS car. Too bad because all I wanted was an apology.

BTW, I don't agree w/ other ppl in that you should retaliate and key the heck out of the other car. I don't believe in hurting anyone's car even if the other guy hurt mine. I'd hurt his/her wallet tho.

Did it do damage to the car? If it did, send the clown the pictures of the damage and that picture you included in your post. Ask (nicely at first) that he reimburse you for the repair. You may be able to ask your insurance agent for help in seeking repairs for the damage.

And oh yeah, send him your work contact info, <em>not</em> your home information. The last thing you need is a crazy stalker visiting your home.

I'm not speaking from experience, though. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

 

everytime I think about this subject I get so upset... parking in NYC is such a pain in the @$$... my rear bumper is a disaster! not only that, but a week after I bought my car some idiot shot a yellow paint ball at my car and left a nice little ding in my door... I swear I wouldve made the guy lick the paint off if I caught him!

 

i parked on the street once and the cars in front and behind parked so close that I couldn't even get out! !#@%^$#!@# drivers!

 

You know in some parts of NJ, if you are parking and you hit the car behind or in front of you and a cop see's it, you're getting a ticket... I know about this in Monmouth county, not sure elsewhere..
