i was wondering whos TL in the first pics of the gallery with the interior shots belong to. i want to know how he just has a screen and uses his stock unit. or does anyone know how he did it and know how much it was.

the infamous screen in the tray..... the screen he used to do this is the avx-7000.... which has been replaced by the avx-7300 which will not work.... but there are plenty of other screens that will work but i have to say that it is a lot of work.... my suggestion take you car to a good audio shop and have them do this for you.... unless you are an experience installer....

 

so will the brain read the 6 disk CD changer and work together?

 

i believe the brain he is using is the gex-7000tv.... i dont think they will work together persay but the brain has a fm modulator built in so it will be no problem intergrating the audio in to the stock headunit..... not quit sure what it is that you are really asking though....

 

First of all, let me try to clear something up for you

he's car is a pre 01 so the stock head unit does NOT have a 6 cd changer, single disc CD only.

I think Streeteffects know a lot more...
