Today(7/30/01) I was driving on Highway 6 and 59 intersection around 2pm... Saw this weird looking TL..... Dark Orange, sure is re-paint, front stock 16" TL rims, and back is some 18" chrom looking rims, with exhaust and bodykit, drove next to me, and took off to 59N..... I was about to chase you in my dropped Silver CL, cuz I want to take a close look at wat its all about.....

Well is it anyone of yall in here? Or anyone in Houston saw this car?? The reason I want to know is.... becasue.... your car is special, BUT it's a truly RICE, TOO RICE!!
When I saw it, I was like, DAMN, RICED TL!!! What a waste of a luxury car..... At least the front wheel should be also 18"..... But anyway... interesting to see something like that!

Actually after some digging, and found his pic... actually its not that RICE after all.... its a nice kit.... and the color is interesting... maybe the sun or something, it looks orange to me earier..... also if the piece between the front and back door is not orange/red but black, it would look really nice.... but anyway, just my thoughs.... but nice and interesting car after all! But I seriously think you need to fix your rims and put them back on instead of stock 16s... no wonder it looks rice to me.... hehe!

Sup, 1999TL, sorry dont know your name. I was actually driving next to you a couple weeks ago. We were both on 59 and I took the richmond exit and I think you took the exit after that. It was on a sat night. I was the silver TL with WW kit...I always see you around. Car looking good, sorry about the rims though!

I believe his rims are 19" Altstadt IIIs, very nice rims! Definitely NOT rice.

Ahh bro, don't say sh!t like that!! I know how it feels - you got your car pimped out exactly like you want it, then something little gets ruined and its really depressing because, until you fix that little thing, your car isn't perfect like you want. Its stressful just looking at it!

Can your rims be fixed? What happend?

One of my rims is cursed. While putting on my rims for the first time ever, I dropped a lug nut and nicked the lip of the rim. Last month I hit a huge bump in the road and dented the lip of that same rim. A week after denting it I was too close to the curb when I cramped my wheel and ligthly scratched THAT SAME &@#*ING RIM! I got the rim fixed - the scratched buffed out and the bend fixed for $100. A week later I took a turn too fast and slid out of my lane, over a big fat yellow turtle (traffic bump) and hit... GUESS WHICH RIM??? Made a small dent, pretty hard to see, but I notice it.

Anyway, don't let the small BS mess with you. Not when you got such a fat ass ride!
