Vincent got his M3 mirrors through a group buy for 140 shipped. But the thing is, he ended it. I emailed him today if he would do another group buy on that site. But he said he rather do a group buy with us (TL and ACCORD owners) He hasn't given me a price yet. But he wants to know who is interested first. So please tell me if you are really interested so I can give him a exact number. Thanks. By the way, these mirrors are powered and they look awesome on our cars!! Thanks yall.

I'm sure the mirrors will reduce the wind noise from the crap accord mirrors we have but they're too ricey. Why try to be another car when you're not. I don't think they come painted for 140 either.

 

If that's the attitude, then why do anything to your car at all?? Like, why have body kit and drop to look like a "RICER" Why put big shiny wheels and look like a "BENZ" Why have all these engine mods and try to be fast like a "RACER" If it looks nice, and set our cars different from others on the street, i'll go for it. You act like im converting my whole car to a M3 or something.
I seen a pic of your car, you got cleared out lights like "ricers" Body kit, and you got wheels. What are those? 17 inch TSW? Funny, i've seen those wheels on a riced out civic before.... and here you are, clownin on "rice rockets" all the time....

Rice1304's wheels are by far my one of my favorites.. they are 18 SSR GT1's. Extremely nice looking but hella expensive.

My car looks nothing like the one in the gallery pic under rice1304. I just put those rims on for a day and took a pic to see what it would look like. That was before i barely even had any mods. snook never took that one off. I have high class 18" forged lightweight rims now. Ones that you most likely cannot afford since you always call me a rich boy. Also, I don't like chrome so i don't want big shiny wheels like a benz. Finally, why don't you put a supra wing on your car then? and how about those altezza tails? you're so cool

 

FYI..... i got 19 inch Lowenharts, which im pretty sure is more than ur 18s ok? And my supra spoiler is coming in next week, i'll post pics later. And Altezza tails are played out.... im gettin the "skyline" style foo.... what chu know? LoL.....

yah, so what's up with u calling me rich cali-boy when you, yourself, can afford 19 inch lowenharts (which will cost you a lot in terms of acceleration as well).

 

also, u take this crap too personal, just because people rice their cars and i say they look crappy doesn't mean you have to get all personal. It's a matter of opinion. I think the mirrors are ricey but not too extreme-ricey. Vdo's car looks nice, i like a lot of what he's done -- i'm just saying that the mirrors are a little bit ricey for my taste (and maybe some other's on this board).

More interested in mirrors that include underside lights that light up when door locked is activated. Anyone come across these for a TL?

 

That's cool! I'm glad things are looking up between Rice and Ball You both had very good points! Rice is merely expressing his opinions, where ball(I agree too) was trying to make his TL different from others like most of us are trying to do! Yeah, the M5 mirrors look dope!

So is Snook paying Rice and Ball to entertain us all? Its cool, I agree with both of ya in the sense that each of us wants to customize the car so we aren't stock, but the different taste shouldn't overshadow the facts:
1) we all have cool taste in cars ( if i do sayso myself)
2) We should take pride in the fact that we take c/o our car and want to personalize it
3) all of us are plain nutz! =P

Are those mirrors really meant for a Honda Accord because I am trying to get mirrors for my TL and they don't make them. APC has the M3 Style Mirrors with the blink along the side, I was gonna buy them but I hear APC isn't that great. Anyway does anyone know if the Accord mirrors are the same?

 

Although they do look relatively sporty, I wouldn't want to put them on my TL..I don't think it would fit with the conservative sportiness that the TL has...In addition, I've had my mirrors knocked in NYC by idiots trying to squeeze by me in traffic, and use the Mirror heaters all the time(to dry off the drops of water when it's raining)..

I agree. It'd look toooooo sporty on our TLs. It looks nice, yet I would not put those on my car. Just my personal preference.

What if i get a hold of the ones with the turning light? Like the ones that mercedes have, not the one like the navigators...

 

I've been trying to get the Mercedes style M3 mirrors, APC makes them, but the blinker only comes in blue or green, I am waiting for superwhite.

But seriously guys, before you spend the money on M3 style mirrors, consider this: They may look nice/sporty, but functionally, they really suck. Too small to give you any real rearward vision. I don't like the mirrors on my CL-S because they're positioned too high, but they do an awesome job with visibility. Just consider this before you buy 'em for your Acuras......
