Who has this color combination?
My car came White Diamond Pearl with Ebony Interior. The dealer told me that only 5% of all TL-Ss are made with this color combination. . So I'm wondering, who else out there has this color combination. .. Really wanna know if my dealer is Bsing me or not. Post back please!
thanks

I don't know about the 5% part, but it is true that white is the most rare color, and most of the white's you see have the parchment interior.
That probably is a pretty rare combination. Just don't let them use that to gouge you on the price- remember, if they only make a few of them that way, it's probably because there isn't much demand for that combination.

Only 5%?!? Really, dang..i wish that were the case here in California. I have one...and see a bunch of WDP's on the road.....most with Parchment interior. Oooh i love that car. At first I thought Aegean Blue was one of the rare ones.....aside from my friends..i've only seen one other on the road.

I have one. Back in July when I bought mine in Colorado, they didn't seem that any rarer than the Silver--the other color I was considering. True, there were more Parchment than Black interiors, though...

I have one. When I bought mine, there was another WDP/blk on the lot. I don't think that 5% makes that big of a deal in terms of either bargaining power on the part of the dealer or uniqueness in terms of the buyer. You figure the TL-S is available in five colors (according to my brochure). Two of those colors have their choice of interior (WDP & NBP). So that's seven possibilities. If that's divided equally, each color combination comprises 14% of the total production. And they probably make a lot more of silvers and blacks since their really popular colors, so that skews down the 14% for the other colors. Taking that into account, 5% doesn't seem to be that small of a number.

I disagree. I think Dark Emerald Pearl is the rarest color for the TL-S. Especially since they changed to Noble Green now. Take a look at the board for truth on this. Only two TL-S that I can think of with DEP. Myself and Redlined.

is Aegean Blue rare?
I can't seem to find any Aegean Blue TL-Ses in the local dealer inventories in South Florida. But I have seen at least one White with Black interior and the dealer did not say anything about that being rare. Actually he was going to give me a good deal on the lease of a White/Black - $1500 total at inception, $419 per month INCLUDING taxes, for 48 months and 15,000 miles per year.

I have seen tons of TL-S. Most that I have seen are black, silver, or white. I've seen 2 ABP (one in NoVA and one in SC). I have seen one Noble Green. I have yet to see another DEP. Also, whenever I drive by a dealership, it seems all they ever have on the lot are black, silver, or white with an occasional ABP. That's just my experience.
Since white is one of the most popular car colors, period, I'm sure the WDP Type S isn't that rare, assuming Acura did some market research. But the WDP w/ Ebony might be.

I agree that the DEP is probably the rarest. I've only seen one and that was on a dealer lot and they discontinued it not even after one full product year. I almost got one myself but thought it was a little too close to black for my taste (and I know how hard you guys with NBP have to work to keep your cars clean).
