White TL -Ebony of Parchment Interior
Hello,
I found a 2003 white TLS with all the options that I want but it had Parchment interior. What does everyone think about this combination. I really wanted black, not sure if I will be happy with parchment. I know white and black is a hard combo to find.
Thanks,
MIke

I have a 2001 TLP with white exterior and parchment interior. I prefer the parchment over a black interior for two main reasons. The dust doesn't show up as much and a black interior is like an oven in the summer sun.
It all comes down to what you think of this combination.

I have an '02 TLS, WDP w/Parchment, and I love it. NYDesi80 has an '03 TLS WDP, but with the Black interior.. both are equally as hot.. just a matter of preferance.. I think the black interior is more sporty, and the parchment interior is more for luxury.. I like my parchment, but it's a bitch to keep clean.. especially the rugs and mats and the inside door sill area from scuff marks from shoes or sneakers.. but IMO they are both nice!

When i first brought my TLS it had parchment interior. I dont like it because it gets dirty really quick and for some reason the smell of it gave me a headache. My friend brought a salvage TLS and I swapped my parchment interior with his black. I only thing I didnt swap was the dashboard so i had it painted professionally. It looks good because its rare to find a white car with black interior. Personally IMO i like black interior better because when its gets dirty its not as noticeable and because the smell of the leather isnt as strong as the parchment. If you're looking to get black interior you will need the entire enterior from another car and you will need to have the dashboard painted. you cant swap the dashboard because the VIN number is on it. hope this helps.

I wouldn't buy a TL until I found one with black interior. I care more about interior color then exterior. The only color I'll ever buy is black or dark grey. I hate tan.

I never realized this until after I bought my car. BTW I have WDP with Ebony Interior.

I'm the same..I didn't realize how rare it was to have WDP w/ Ebony Interior til I got on this forum and everyone started talking about it. I was like, "Damn, I just bought my car because I like the white color and thought the Black interior was standard." Oh well...no regrets of course...I love my Black interior.
