There was a thread about CL Trannies... and lots of responses of people with CL's having tranny problems and having trannies replaced already. I think there were a few TL folks too?? N E how, the CL & TL use the same tranny right?
How about 99's?

It sorta scared me cuz I have a TBird with 110k miles that the tranny needed to be replaced and I don't want to have to do that again with my next car. I think the tranny should last at least 200k ++ miles....

What are your thoughts? Anyone here with tranny probs?

I'm still waiting for my new transmission to come in. Hopefully next week.

 

There was a point in time where a lot of folks here were complaining about tranny problems. It's died down alittle but you still get people popping up with problems.

It is kind of scary. I think there are too many complaints.

 

I believe MikeS is having the serious tranny problem right now and the dealer is jacking him around........

 

Yep, They are telling ne it's A-O.K., I have a meeting with the southeastern Acura Rep in the next couple of weeks.

 

Mine got replaced, after I complain about 4 times. Tell them to do a presure test or something. The mecanic swear that nothing was wrong, he ask me if I wanted him to do the test I said NO. Then I took a print out from this forum about tranny problems and finally got it replaced.
