Question Where'd all the TL's go?

So I have almost 500 miles on my TL now and I have maybe seen 3 TLs on the road. I didn't see a lot before, but now I don't see ANY! Not that I mind, part of why I chose the TL is that you can't sneeze and knock over 7 of them (Camry!).

I live in Orange County and find it surprising that there aren't more TLs out there.

I can't wait for the rain to stop so I can wash this black beauty.

Youre lucky I work 10 minutes from home and see 6 or 7 tls on the way to work. Well they also make the tl here to that may have something to do with it..

You must not be paying attention. I see several every day. (Three others in the parking lot where I work.)

I agree with SpackleToe. I live in Orange County too (Anaheim Hills) and haven't seen as many TL's there. Around my school,USC, in L.A. is a different story. TL's are popping up everywhere there. Hey, what do you expect from USC, the University of Spoiled Children.

Come to Stamford and you can see literally (well, almost ) hundreds of them just by driving around. Almost all driven by like 60 year olds (no offense to 60 year olds, I'm just sayin')

Don't see that many in Dallas. One TL for every 200 Accords or Camrys. I see lots of LS 300s and BMWs.

Mine's one of those that shoot along the 5 north every morning, but I swear I don't see hardly any.

Dave is right, Camrys and Accords outnumber TLs like 200 to 1 on my commute. I swear this morning I parked between two identical tan camrys.

I love this, I got the car I wanted, and also have the feeling that I know something everyone else doesn't. The TL is a great seller, but not great enough to flood the market, and that's cool with me!

I don't plan on changing my rims either. Nothing wrong with the stocks as far as I'm concerned.

This is off topic, but it's like this: I equate modding a car to modding a computer. If you were to build the computer from scratch, you'd know all the ins and outs and how to make it go the speed you want by adding the parts you want. But if you bought a DELL or Gateway, or some other big company's product, you'll notice that all the parts are tuned and tested to work well together. You add something after-market to one of those systems and if it's not just right you lose performance.

I know about computers, so I feel comfortable building one from scratch and tweaking it all to hell. I don't know all that much about cars, so I bought one I thought was pretty sweet as is.

More info than you all cared to know, but there ya go.

They're out there. I'm in Irvine and there's one in my condo complex and another in the adjacent complex. BOTH THE SAME COLOR AS MINE

I see at least 5/day commuting to 20 miles each way to work.

I see way too many TL's on the road now. Guess what, the "company" car for senior management at my company is.... 2001 TL's!

Hey Spac: I'm in Orange County, too. I see maybe one a WEEK! In fact, I see so few, I give a little "salute" as I pass by 'em! (They must think I'm nuts, but it's a brotherly thing...)

See! I'm not crazy!

Thanks Scotty! I'll be sure and salute back if I see anyone in a white TL give a wave.
